Additionally, Hayley assists clients in navigating life transitions, managing overwhelming emotions, and coping with everyday stressors.
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Hayley is trained in multiple psychological approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Psychodynamic Therapy.
She works with clients aged 18 and over, employing an integrative approach that combines various psychological theories and techniques to meet each client's unique needs.
She believes that the therapeutic relationship is central to the process and is committed to creating a safe, warm, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment for every client.
Grounded in person-centred and psychodynamic theory, Hayley's approach emphasises the importance of building a trusting, collaborative relationship.
She takes the time to understand each client's unique experiences and adapts her methods to reflect their needs, goals, and personalities. Through her integrative approach, Hayley explores how past relationships and experiences influence current thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. She helps clients gain insight, understand the challenges in their lives, and work towards meaningful change.

Where to begin?
Get in touch
Fill in the contact form and I will call or email you straight back to have an initial chat so we can decide if I am the right person for you at this time. If your reason for contacting me is not in my field of expertise I would be delighted to suggest expert colleagues to help.
Set up a meeting
Ideally our first meeting will be at my clinic. The aim of this first appointment is to allow you to share your difficulties and expectations in a safe place and in turn, I will let you know how I might be able to help. I will also explain how therapy works (e.g. confidentiality, fees, cancellation policy etc.) I believe the first session allows you to decide if this is the right place for you. There is no pressure to return and you are free to go away and consider all of the information.
We meet!
Together, we’ll work to build a strong understanding of your needs and how I can best support you. Therapy typically takes place weekly at the same time, with each session lasting between 50 minutes and one hour. These sessions provide you with the opportunity to explore your challenges, emotions, thinking, behaviour and relationships in a safe, non-judgmental and quiet place that is all your own.
